I don't remember exactly what I paid but I think it was closer to $1800.00 plus 150.00 delivery fee. I am now searching for a new mattress and waisted $1700 at least with that bed. But in the end they did, but its a big hammock now! and my husband never slept much in it because the motion transfer was horrible!! They did try to accommodate me, but after many many emails follow up calls I had to make to get 3 replacement defective mattresses from them. I will say I had somewhat of a decent experience with customer service. They paid marketing to make reviews, blogs, and made sure any negative reviews were taken down or attacked if someone said anything negative about the brand. They were an early internet brand to promote no overhead high quality mattress slogan. I think there foam is cheap and way to expensive for the quality!! I found out a lot about their marketing they did to promote their name and brand. There quite deep? why not a nice soft smooth top quilted? they missed the mark there. especially sleeping hot and I have think lightweight sheets and can really feel them. Yes they are brutal feeling when your sleeping. Don't waist your money, way way to expensive for the lack of support and longivety considering the price! The Loom & Leaf is a close runner-up for our best mattresses for heavy people and our best mattresses for side sleepers lists. hot, no motion transfer, I have to roll my self out of bed and I only weigh 140lbs 5 2. the Saatva I tried first and the springs popped Everytime you got out of bed in a few spots. I have a really good solid over kill base to. The cover has big hexagon type stitching with a jump on each one you feel unless you have a mattress pad on bed. Plush is way to bouncy, firm is firm but breaks down fast. hes sleeps in guest room because it's horrible. A big hole in middle of bed now I sink into if my husband sleeps in the bed. The loom and leaf is a glorified regular foam mattress.
