The members pool was nice and we enjoyed it but we did not spend all of time there and got around a bit. The resort did would it could to keep up with it including a backhoe, tractor and wagon but it was just too much to keep up with. The resort can’t do anything about that but we did miss the chance to enjoy the nice beach. Grounds/Pool - we ended up having to spend all of our time at the pools due to massive amounts of sargassum. She knew what we wanted and would come by with a round before we even asked for it. We did spend some evenings at Bar Balam and would enjoy sparkling service from Marisella. We also had exceptional dinner service from Luis at Mura House and he did not disappoint at all with great food choices and great service. It was a very relaxing way to start our day and the food was great.
We also enjoyed the non-plate banging buffet breakfast at Mi Carisa and had excellent service from Maria.

We had fantastic service at the pool from Lucia and she kept our glasses full with a smile on her face. Our pre-arrival concierge Jose was very helpful as well and made the start of our vacation seamless and smooth. She would also reach out to us every morning to see what we needed rather than wait til we needed something. She also went above and beyond to arrange special room decorations for us. She was very attentive to handling reservations, answering questions and solving little problems like water and beer supply. We are tippers and tip based upon the attentiveness and quality of the service just like we do at home. They work very hard and we appreciated their effort. Staff - The staff was fantastic and they were helpful throughout our stay. Overall our experience was really good and we would return. This was our first trip to this resort but by no means our first trip to the area. This certainly entitled us to some perks and benefits that we appreciated. We are legendary members and traveled with our VIP status. We had the opportunity to visit this resort for our honeymoon. Their directions and process were as described. Booked private transportation through the resort. We knew that before arriving as vloggers covered it well. Beach - if you want to sit on the beach or go in the water, Unico is not the place. Spa - my wife had 2 excellent 50 min massages. We did get a pre tour to Rio Secreto and that was worth 2 hours of our time for $128pp USD as a cost. We did the "tour" to become Legendary members and it felt a bit pushy with 3 closers trying to get a commitment.
Mi Carisa was "ok" and Cueva Siete I was disappointed as the Mexican option. 2087 and Mura House especially the hibachi (need to book different then on the app) were the best two places for dinner. We went back to our swim up pool every day from 3-5pm before dinner. Pool area and experience was excellent with options to be engaged as well as a quiet area to relax.
